Notre Dame at Michigan
Charlie Weis got his Notre Dame program off to a great start, by defeating
nationally ranked Pittsburgh 42-21 on National TV Saturday Night.  More impressive
was the way his boys manhandled a team that gained a BCS birth last season.  Another road challenge awaits, against #3 Michigan.

The Wolverines were almost as impessive in thier 2005 debut, gaining 447 yards of
offense in a balanced attack in dispatching giant-killer Northern Illinois  33-17.
This will also be a more challenging game for Lloyd Carr's troops.

Over 55 1/2 BGSU and Wisconsin
Omar Jacobs is one of the best passers in the nation and he will shred this
young secondary.   When Wisconsin coach Barry Alvarez was asked whether his
young secondary would be ready for the Bolwling Green wide-open atrack , he
said: "Our corners are guys that have played before. Our (strong) safety
started the first two games for us a year ago. Our free safety has played a
little bit. It's not like they've never played before.  Ikegwuonu hasn't
played before, yet he goes against our guys in practice."

Math and the Moneyline

Who really likes math? When it comes to betting on football, most North American bettors favor pointspreads over moneylines simply because they get pointspreads. There's no math involved. Once you face your fear of math, however, you'll find that betting on moneylines is easier than you think.

With pointspreads, it's easy to spot the difference between -3 and -4, right? But how much value is there between moneylines of -170 and -210? Most people don't get that; it's just not something that's intuitive to football bettors.
