The NCAA added one year to the University of South Carolina's self imposed two year probation.  Luckily for the Gamecocks, the NCAA did not impose any sanctions on post season or television appearances.

NCAA Infractions Committee Chair Josephine Potuto wrote the University earlier this month concurring that the University lead investigation was "thorough and complete."

South Carolina had previously placed themselves on probation while reducing scholarships and paid visits by recruits.  The NCAA adopted these punishmnets and extended the lenght of the imposed probation by 12 months.
