Tennessee Shocks LSUDown 21 points late in the game, LSU transfer Rick Clausen made a believer out of Tiger fans who said the quarterback only transferred to Tennessee because he wasn't "Good Enough" to play in Baton Rouge.  Clausen looked every bit as good as a quarterback can engineering a comeback over the Tigers that left LSU fans in shock at how a team that prides itself on defense could fall apart at the seams and allow a huge Volunteer rally.

Erik Ainge started the game for the Volunteers but his fumble deep in UT territory and an errant throw lead to 14 points for the Tigers including the first touchdown of the game.

Clausen entered the game in the second half down 21-0 and promptly took the first drive the length of the field going 6-7 for 40 yards including an 8 yard pick up to Bret Smith to put the Vols on the board 21-7.

The Tigers responded with a quick Chris Jackson field goal to make it 24-7, but the Vols wouldn't falter and Clausen finished the game 21-32 for 196 yards with the TD pass to Smith and a TD run of his own.

In Overtime, the LSU Tigers had the first shot, but settled for a FG.  After the change of possession, Tennessee relied solely on Gerald Riggs Jr. to shoulder the load as he accounted for all of the Vols yards and plowed into the endzone on second down to give the Volunteers the win.

Next up for Tennessee is Mississippi in Knoxville while LSU faces Mississippi State on the road.
