California lost both their starting cornerback
and punt returner this past Thursday when Senior Tim Mixon went down
with a torn ACL when returning a punt in a Thursday scrimmage.
Mixon went down and left the field on crutches. An MRI revealed the tear.
California Head Coach Jeff Tedford said Mixon wasn't hit, but that, "He just planted and his knee gave out."
Senior Ransy Bundy or RS Freshman Sydquan Thompson will likely replace Mixon. |
