With the first weekend of college football nearly over, Against The Line give you a peek inside the Member Section to see how we break down Sunday's games. Get our full action each and every week by purchasing a site membership here.Syracuse at Purdue
We have the Boilers as solid 15 point winners against 'Cuse in this game at Ross Ade on Sunday. Purdue should have the most prolific offense in the Big Ten this season and with the Orangemen starting a new QB in his first road game the defense may have a bit easier time even though they only return 3 starters. Purdue is 9-5 ATS in their last 14 September home games and we think they cover here as well.

Prediction:
‘Cuse 20 (total yardage 362)
Purdue 35 (total yardage 499)
Pick - Purdue for one unit

Houston at Rice (neutral field)

We have the Cougars winning this crosstown battle by 6 while the line sits at only three (-3.5 in some places). Rice will get their yards on the ground with the wishbone, but having all summer to prepare will help Houston keep the damage minimal. The Cougars are 9-5 ATS in the series since 87 and we like them to improve here.

Prediction:
Houston 31 (total yardage 503)
Rice 25 (total yardage 399)
Pick - Houston for one unit

Kentucky at Louisville

When the game opened at eight, this looked like a pretty solid wager, but with the number increasing all the way to 10 we have to avoid a play.

Prediction:
Kentucky 16 (total yardage 278)
Louisville 27 (total yardage 508)
Pick - No Play

Fresno St at Washington

FSU has done fine playing the PAC Ten handing losses to OSU and UCLA so they won't be intimidated in this contest, but our numbers have it a bit too close to the line for a wager.

Prediction:
Fresno St 24 (total yardage 368)
Washington 28 (total yardage 440)
Pick - No Play
