2 Unit Picks
Cincinnati -1.5
Oregon +28

1 Unit Picks
WVU -6.5
Marshall +19
TCU +6
Minnesota -3.5Cincinnati at Syracuse
Our numbers show a big eight point victory for the Brearcats and the number is still at 1.5 (2 in some places). Syracuse has looked terrible in their opening two games (59-0 against Purdue, losing to Buffalo 10-3 midway through 2Q) and we don't think the offense lead by a true frosh will improve enough week over week to keep this in the number. The Bearcats are also 12-2 ATS L14 on the road against OOC competition.

Predicted Final: UC 31-23
Call: 2 Units on UC
Line at time of posting: UC-1.5

Oregon at Oklahoma

With a huge 28 point line and the numbers indicating an 18 point victory we're hard pressed not to make the Ducks a four unit play. However, we've tempered this down quite a bit after watching the performance and TOs that cost the game last week against lowly Indiana and though we give the Ducks credit for an amazing comeback, mistakes like that against the Sooners will prove even more deadly.

Predicted Final: Oklahoma 35-17
Call: 2 Units on Oregon
Line at time of posting: Oklahoma -28

Maryland at WVU

Our numbers have WVU taking this game by a shade more than the line (which has dropped a half from the open at 7). WVU returns 15 this year including 9 on offense and should continue to play well. On the other hand, MD has the youngest team it has had in years (only 9 returning) and faces a big step up in class this week from NIU and Temple. Add in the leading tackler and starting CB being questionable for this game and we take the slight lean of our numbers and make this a solid one unit wager.

Predicted Final: WVU 30-22
Call: 1 Unit on WVU
Line at time of posting: WVU -6.5

Marshall at Georgia

UGA has looked less than stellar in their opening two games and under Richt they are only 2-5 ATS in non-conference home games. Marshall took Ohio State to the wire last week and we think they are good enough to keep it in the number here.

Predicted Final: UGA 30-13
Call: 1 Unit on Marshall
Line at time of posting: UGA -19

TCU at Texas Tech

Texas Tech has been disappointing so far this year and our numbers lean with the Frogs. We've made it only a 1 unit on the basis of the history (Home team is 4-0 ATS L4, and TTU is 8-3 ATS in the series).

Predicted Final: TTU 33-31
Call: 1 Unit on TCU
Line at time of posting: TTU -6

Minnesota at CSU

Minnesota likes to pile on the points but our numbers show CSU keeping this game within reach at home. We think Minny wins convincingly, but with CSU needing a bit of redemption after a rough loss to USC last week we have tempered the wager down to one unit.

Predicted Final: Minnesota 39-31
Call: 1 Unit on Minnesota
Line at time of posting: Minnesota -3.5
