After starting the season out with back to back wins on Memphis and Fresno State, Contrarian Picks is up an amazing +610. Correspondent John Mosko is back this week to break down the college football moneylines and look at what might be of value.

UConn +250
WMU +250
Kent +350
Maryland +220
Vandy +210
NIU +130
Arizona +350
New Mexico +400
EMU +350
UNC +250
Michigan St +135
TCU +210
Florida +130
Pitt +160
CSU +150
AFA +200
NMSU +300
Not a bad selection on the board, but a number of picks are a little low to consider. That said, here's what I might consider after a cursory examination:

Maryland
Vandy
EMU
TCU

And that's it... a short stack this week. I would consider Florida as well but the +130 isn't enough value as we tend to bet only games above +150 in this column....

Maryland has owned WVU in this series of late and regardless of their youth should give the ‘Neers a challenge. Unfortunately, with the team as young as they are and having only faced NIU (and struggled) and Temple I don't see them pulling the road upset here. But a 220 makes it worth a look and if it moves nearer 260-275 I might make a small wager on it for amusement.

Vandy The home team is horrible in this series going just 2-7-1 ATS in the last 10 and Ole Miss has looked terrible so far scoring only 20 points in their first two games combined. I think Ole Miss is still surviving on the Manning reputation and I would not be surprised to see Vandy take this one on the road.

EMU This pick is not so much a vote of confidence for EMU as it is a vote against Toledo. The Rockets have looked like a shell of their former selves in their opening two games getting blasted by Minnesota and Kansas. EMU hasn't inspired much confidence but they did put up nearly 300 yards of total offense against Florida and scored close to 40 in their only MAC game so far against lowly Buffalo. I'm not completely sold here, but at +350, I think it's worth a shot.

TCU is putting up 45 points per game while TTU lost last week to New Mexico. The Horned Frogs haven't faced a terribly difficult challenge yet (Northwestern and SMU) but they have moved the ball effectively against both while TTU has looked a bit less than the juggernaut they have been in years past. I think the 210 is a decent line for this one and definitely think it worth a look.

So that's it for what I like. That noted, here's the call:

Against the Line Contrarian Picks calls Vandy +210 as our moneyline pick of the week. (That noted folks, I definitely like the other three as wellbut since I'm stuck picking one I think I'll ride the ‘Dores. Use your own judgement and analysis and grab what you like best.)
