LSU's leading rusher, RB Alley Broussard will miss the entire upcoming season with
a knee injury. He led the LSU Tigers with 867 rushing yards and scored 10
touchdowns last year,

Broussard, a preseason Second-Team All Southeastern Conference selection, hurt his
right knee during a short scrimmage on Saturday.
Broussard, just a junior this year, set an LSU single-game rushing record with a
250-yards vs. Ole Miss in 2004. Justin Vincent and Shyrone Carey will be looked upon
to carry the load in the Tigers' backfield.

LSU is ranked No. 6 in the USA Today Top 25 Preseason Coaches' Poll.
